Job Title: Human Resource Business Partner

Location: On-site

Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead employee relations initiatives, including but not limited to disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and performance improvement plans.
• Conduct thorough employee evaluations, ensuring fair and consistent assessments while providing actionable feedback for professional development.
• Serve as a liaison between management and union representatives, fostering positive relationships and facilitating collective bargaining processes.
• Drive the implementation of HR programs and initiatives, such as talent acquisition, onboarding, training, and succession planning.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing employment practices and labor relations.
• Actively participate in the development and enhancement of HR policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including policy interpretation, benefits administration, and conflict resolution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5 years of progressive experience in human resources, with a focus on manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing processes, policies, and procedures to drive organizational success.
• Proven ability to navigate employee relations issues in a unionized setting, including contract interpretation and negotiation.
• Strong technical proficiency, including experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
